With friends and family Karrissa goes by Rissy. Karrissa is an artist and an innovator. Coming from a big family, and being the eldest of five siblings she started to grow her analytical skills, ability to mediate, and being resourceful early on. Despite the hardships associated with being blessed with a baby girl, she graduated high school with honors, while also working part-time at a local Pizzeria. She went on to attend University, majoring first in Health Sciences, then Business. Karrissa continued to work while attending school, working in and managing restaurants. Karrissa has over a decade of experience in helping people (customers, employees, and coworkers), problem solving, and negotiating. While her pleasant and calm demeanor is a must have in any business, she is a stern force when it comes to getting tasks accomplished. For Karrissa education and career always go hand in hand. She is constantly learning, taking courses to expand her knowledge and abilities within real estate. She works hard to have the most easy to use, ground breaking, and efficient tools for her clients. In 2014 She met her husband. He brought Karrissa to the island in 2015 to visit his mother. They decided there was no better place to raise children and grow a family. They moved to Kona in 2017, they started a business, and she got licensed as a real estate agent, with the goal to help families thrive on the Big Island. When not assisting clients Karrissa enjoys DIY spa days with her daughters, Winter and Aniya, dancing and jamming out to good music with her husband Alex, time in the garden with her son Xander, and, of course, beach days and exploring the beautiful Big Island.
